The Nova Scotia Health Authority announced Monday that the emergency department at Roseway Hospital, Shelburne, will be closed for 24 hours on Monday, December 28, closing at 8 a.m., and reopening Tuesday, December 29 at 8 a.m.
The news release distributed two hours after the closure said that the closure was due to lack of a physician and a registered nurse
This is the latest in dozens of ER closures at Roseway Hospital in the past 12 months.
