Please join the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Yarmouth, for an inspiring and informative evening featuring the groundbreaking work of the Aboriginal Children’s Hurt and Healing Initiative (ACHH), a partnership between Indigenous communities, the IWK Health Centre and Dalhousie University.
The evening will feature an engaging presentation by Dr. Margot Latimer and Karlee Johnson, a short video, Q + A, and reception with light refreshments.
This event is supported by the Medavie Health Foundation.

AUTISM ARTS - SPRING SESSION
Saturday May 5, 12, 19 & 26
9:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Children and youth will enjoy a variety of art activities and have fun exploring new techniques with art instructor Jay LeBlanc. Recreational therapist Amy Walls works with Jay and the children to ensure that individual needs are met. Autism Arts gives participants new ways to communicate through art. The small class size encourages the development of friendships in a safe and secure environment.

Children under 12: 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
Ages 12 and up: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
FEES AND REGISTRATION
$80 / $10 per session.
