Natalie Lynn is the front of her eponymous Alternative/Pop/Rock band, based in Halifax, NS. This Shelburne native and singer/songwriter takes the stage with electrifying presence, dynamic vocal range, and powerful guitar melodies. From hard hitting rock n roll, to dance floor anthems, Natalie Lynn can bring a crowd from their seats the floor. Still, with her tender ballads, she can break a room full of hearts.
With two E.P’s under her belt including her debut single ‘Runaway’, Natalie Lynn is no stranger to the stage, having started her career early on in her teens. From CBC’s Main Street School Of Rock Solo’s Competition, to the Gordie Sampson Song Camp, to touring Eastern Canada with HMP Recording & Development, Natalie Lynn continues to work towards the future, and what is next for her music.
Natalie Lynn has opened for bands such as In-Flight Safety, Quiet Parade, Fourth Well and LA Speedway as well as shared stages at the Harmony Bazaar Festival of Women and Song with great female artists such as Serena Ryder and Sarah Harmer. Natalie Lynn has recently been collaborating on recording projects and live performances with local talents such as Quiet Parade, Neon Dreams, The Odd Bit and Brandon Miller-Davis, versatile to many different genres.
Quiet Parade
The latest music from Halifax bleeding-heart quintet Quiet Parade finds the group writing some of its most powerful and contemplative songs to date. What started as a solo project for songwriter Trevor Murphy has matured into an organic, full band effort on Old Haunts. The new album is a collection of songs reflecting on places and people of the past – a reoccurring theme in Quiet Parade’s fog-laden songs.
Voted the Best Band To Listen To Quietly by The Coast for the last two years, Quiet Parade once again taps into its core of introspective and honest songs to present a record that stirs up long-standing ghosts, lingering memories and a glimmer of hope for better days.
