Seed Library
Wilson’s Home Hardware in Barrington Passage has donated seeds for the seed library for people to use to grow flowers and vegetables. Barrington library is collecting seeds to develop seed libraries for the spring. If you have extra seeds from your garden, we would appreciate a donation. The seed library will allow people to take seeds for free and return seeds in exchange.
Happy Bookers Book Club
Tuesday, Sept. 10, 1:30 p.m.
On the second Tuesday of the month enjoy lively book discussions with friends! Today the group will discuss Ordinary Life by Elizabeth Berg. The club will share a new book every month. Coffee and tea are served. New members are always welcome.
Activity Night
Wednesday, Sept. 18, 6 p.m.
Children aged 6 to 12 can have a fun time with friends. Play a game, build with LEGO, or make a craft.
Story Time at Bay Side

During story time, children five and under play and sing their way to literacy with the residents of Bay Side Home, 96 Bayside Drive in Barrington. Activities are suited for preschool children and their caregivers.

Pudding Painting

Children up to eight years old can make art work using pudding.
I Spy Bottle
Sept. 17 to 28 during open hours
Youth 16 and under can stop into the library and find all of the hidden objects in the bottle. There will be two bottles to search, one for children 12 and under and one for teens.

The library will be open for an author reading with Marsha Curry. She will read from her latest book Those Who Live by the Sea, a light, comical story from one of our own “homegrown,” young authors.

NFB Film Club: Theatre of Life

This film explores an extraordinary soup kitchen in Milan where two vastly different worlds have been brought together by a unique social experiment: the finest haute cuisine chefs in the world and the city’s most disadvantaged groups. This program is for adults.
Creative & Cursive Writing
