Spray-Paint Art: Hughstin Grimshaw-Surette will be doing his amazingly quick and impressive spray-paint paintings live throughout the event.
*Interactive Tubulum: An instrument similar to those made famous by the Blue Man Group will be constructed for your musical amusement. Simplified sheet music will be provided for popular melodies unless you feel like rocking your heart out is the best way to go.
Acoustic performance: Crystal Porter will be giving a wonderful performance inside the main gallery room for all to hear.
*Open Mic: Four acts will be performing through the night. Check back later for a confirmed list of performers.
Interactive shadow art: A back-lit canvas will be set up for you and your friends to create fantastic creatures and scenes using nothing but your shadows. Instructional diagrams will help you get started and a photographer will be present to take pictures of your creations which will be uploaded and tagged on this page.
Interactive Electronic Canvas: Electronic notepads will be set up for anyone interested in experimenting with substituting the brush for a stylus.
Projected Wall of Art: Some highlighted works of the young artists will be projected in a slideshow onto the back wall of the Vanguard building.
Invitation raffle: Anyone attending will be asked who told them about the event. The name of whoever recommended them will be put into a draw for a prize (to be decided). So make sure you invite as many people as you can!
We hope to see you all there and can't wait to share this exciting night with you!
