NDP says public backs teachers

Saying in a Friday news release that the McNeil government "should focus on bargaining, not advertising", the NDO caucus took shots at the what they describe as "partisan ads to undermine teachers, along with a coordinated government media blitz..." as part of a government attempt to "force a teachers’ strike."

“If Stephen McNeil has something to say to teachers, he should say it at the bargaining table,” said NDP Leader Gary Burrill.
