Queens-Shelburne MLA Kim Masland is not surprised that the Liberal Health Minister would not guarantee that Roseway Hospital will stay open, according to a news release Friday.

PC Education Critic Kim Masland says lifesaving devices like AEDs, epi-pens and naloxone kits should be in every school across the province.

 

Later today in the Legislature, Masland will introduce an amendment to the Education Act that will require schools in Nova Scotia to have epi-pens and AEDs on site. Naloxone kits will also be mandatory at junior and high schools.
